So, one night I was laying in bed going through my Netflix movies and saw something called "Fat, Sick & Nearly Dead" . Anywho, I stayed up and watched it. It blew my mind. So after much deliberation, I decided to try juicing. I bought myself one of those juicers, the "Hamilton Beach 67650 Big Mouth Pro Juice Extractor".
I guess I should give some particulars. I weighed myself when I started this, which was yesterday 2/22/2012. Yup, I've gained some weight, I'm a whole 190lbs. Sometimes I think back to about 5 years ago, before I met my fiance, a whole 45lbs lighter...I like to blame our relationship, but there's only one person to blame..me.
So, not only have started to juicing, i started to use the iPhone app: Lose It! It totally tracks calories and such. Which is great. Keeps you honest, when you start to plus in the data, there is really no use if you lie to yourself.
Ok, here I go:
I am 190 lbs as of 2/22/2012. My goal is to lose 40lbs and be my best healthy weight of 150lb. According to my "Lose It" my daily goal of calories is 1,235. This will essentially allow me to
"lose" 2 lbs per week. Mind you, this is with no physical activity. I'm sure it will increase if I start back up at the gym. I think that Lose It said that by the beginning of July or middle of July, I'll be my 150lbs. We'll see!!!
I'll report once a week and give my feedback and results!
